This seems to have been introduced in 3.8.0-18-generic. Currently
running a quantal kernel so that the machine will stay up.
I'm happy to run whatever tests you need around this, up to and
including shipping the stupid board to someone. (tell me what to get to
replace it that will work halfway decently and I'll be happier.
Given that I'm running quantal's kernel, I suspect that running the
apport command would be less than helpful.. let me know what the best
way to get you additional info is.
