What changes? Attach the _relevant_ part of /var/log/aptitude and
/var/log/apt/history.log.

This error not related to aptitude that does not interface with dbus.
It is related to maintainer scripts of one or more packages, which is
probably in a not configured state. You can investigate with dpkg or
check /var/lib/dpkg for such a package.
