Public bug reported:
In Ubuntu Raring Ringtail (13.04), Synaptic version 0.80~exp2, the
download dialog that appears when downloading package updates or
updating the package lists is missing the Status column when showing the
individual files, so I can not see the download progress of the
individual files. There does not appear to be any setting to enable or
disable showing this column in the application's preferences, and the
column shows up properly on my Debian system running the same version of
Synaptic, so why it is missing on my Ubuntu system I do not know.
I hope you can look into this and if necessary, possibly fix it. (If
there's a file belonging to Synaptic that may have somehow been altered
in such a way as to disable this column, please instruct me as to where
to find this file and how to fix it so that column shows up again.)
