I noticed that this bug says:

at the very top. Does that mean that the bug would be fixed if I rolled back
to kernel 2.6.17?
(not sure if this is possible in Feisty -- at least, synaptic only
offers versions like 2.6.20-xx)
(Forgive me if this is a silly question -- I'm still not very familiar
with Launchpad...)
