I'm not sure if this is the right place to put this, but I'll do it
anyway, since I didn't find anywhere else to post it.

When you select 0$ at the donations page, you get a rather nasty-looking
skull icon. I think the skull icon is inappropriate for an OS that
prides itself with being free; donations should be something you're
encouraged to, but not guilted into. The icon gives the vibe that if you
use Ubuntu without donating, you're essentially pirating the software.
That my impression, at least. I have a suggestion for a better icon (or,
this guy had http://www.omgubuntu.co.uk/2012/10/ubuntu-adds-new-
donations-page#comment-677775568 ), and it is attached.

If it's meant humorously (which I hope is the case), then I'm afraid the
point doesn't come all that well across. I've read comments in the
omgUbuntu-coverage of the donations page which find the icon bothering.
