I have now updated several instances of kubuntu to version 13.02. In
all cases emacs stopped working. Most of the time now no new windows
appears when i start emacs from a terminal window. Somtimes such an
emacs windows appears, but freezes as soon as I try do to, e.g. a
"dired".
