Dell Inspiron 1520 and Ubuntu 12.04. Upgraded from previous LTS where it worked. Shutdown isn't working. Nvidia here, I will not remove it as I don't believe there is a relationship - it may only be a workaround. I intend to stay on this LTS. I refuse to change any BIOS settings as it worked previously.
