Public bug reported: The brightness keys (aka F1/F2) on my MacBook Pro 9,2 have been working with 12.04 and 12.10. Now after the upgrade to 13.04, when I press them I see the brightness notification, but the actual brightness of the screen doesn't change. It is set to the max level when booting and stays at this level.
