I accidentally forgot a dependency, tried it again with the git version.
I still see those lines in the log:
[mm-plugin.c:900] mm_plugin_create_modem(): Could not grab port
(usbmisc/cdc-wdm1): 'Cannot add port 'usbmisc/cdc-wdm1', unsupported'
[mm-plugin.c:900] mm_plugin_create_modem(): Could not grab port
(usbmisc/cdc-wdm0): 'Cannot add port 'usbmisc/cdc-wdm0', unsupported
which I assumed were part of the bug, but now I am able to connect.
So unless those lines are signs of another bug, this issue seems
resolved when the next release is packaged by Arch. Thanks for your
time.
