Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: network-manager-gnome
My university does not broadcast its wireless ESSID, so I have to use the
"Connect to Other Wireless Network..." option to manually provide the network
name and enter the WEP key. That's expected the first time, but on subsequent
reboots I have to redo it. I'm getting a gconf entry in
/system/networking/wireless/networks/, but it never automatically logs me in
(as it did in previous versions). Also, I'm not asked to unlock my GNOME
keyring either (as I used to).
I am up to date, with version 0.6.5-0ubuntu7.
