same thing here. "FUJITSU:ScanSnap S1500". NOW gscan2pdf is not 0.9.31-2, it's v1.0.4 - 2 years later, and still broken? Really? I just upgraded from Ubuntu Lucid (which must have been older than 0.9.31-2 because I enjoyed gscan2pdf for a few years).
While it's running, after scanning 3 sheets front&back, in the tmp directory are 6 PNM files that are all valid, and look good in an image viewer. The problem, as shown in the debug log, is in gscan2pdf........ If you'd put up a kickstarter project, I bet you could get the $400 to buy one of these beautiful Fujitsu scanners - they are amazing. I'd kick in too. Here, too, using scanimage seems to work. My log is attached, too. ** Attachment added: "gscan2pdf-debug.log" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gscan2pdf/+bug/630304/+attachment/3660894/+files/gscan2pdf-debug.log -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/630304 Title: Meerkat: gscan2pdf looses first page on multi-page duplex scanning To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gscan2pdf/+bug/630304/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
