When I wrote these workarounds I knew they were a total crap, but I did because I had wanted to find them myself the first time I read this bug report. They describe better the origin of the bug and in the end they work just fine.
But yes, this is a holi-bullsitโข software (and report). And not to mention some files just disappear when syncing between devices... better you don't format the computer where the file has originally been...
