I closed this bug as its not a bug on firefox. You have a typo in/around
line 47 in /etc/apt/sources.list Please run in terminal "gksudo gedit
/etc/apt/sources.list" without the ". and look at line 47 and see if it
has anything differnetnt like a stray . or ' or something like that. If
this problem persits please seek help by joining irc.freenode.net with
an irc cleint like gaim or irssi or whatever you like to use. than join
#ubuntu and ask for help. You can try the forums at ubuntuforums.org. or
you can try on the answers tracker at: https://answers.launchpad.net/
