I have the same problem. to clarify again: when you first boot up, with the wired ethernet plugged in, nm correctly chooses to use the wired connection, and does not attempt to do wireless.
upon suspend/resume, if the keyring password has not been entered before, it asks for the keyring password to get at the wireless WEP key, (if it has already been entered before, this is skipped); then it briefly connects to the wireless network; then disconnects from wireless and proceeds to connect to the wired. it seems that nm should really be doing the same thing it does upon a fresh bootup - if the wired connection is available, use it without even touching wireless. this is happening to me on ubuntu feisty. -- Tries wireless network from resume, even if connected via wired https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/45745 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is a direct subscriber. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
