All hotkeys (sleep, wireless, brightness, video output, touchpad, volume) just work! And there is no need for me to wait some seconds for settings to be applied. With brightness keys I just hit the button and at the same time brightness changes. I wait some seconds with wireless and touchpad - these keys work not so quickly. But volume and brightmess keys work immediately. I'm using Xubuntu 13.04 and i have a bit different model of laptop (ASUS K55VD-SX205R).
