On a DELL E6530 (Ethernet Intel Corporation 82579LM Gigabit Network card).
After an update from quantal to raring I've the wired connection.
It seams a regression in Network Manager. It works perfectly with
Ubuntu/Kubuntu 12.10 (live USB).
