If you mean kernel 3.8.0-18 the answer is no. 3.8.0-19 is the only kernel I have installed. Yesterday it got updated through Software Updater, although the version did not change. Right after that I started experiencing problems with suspend. However later that day (after reading some reports on similar problems with suspend) I replaced NVIDIA proprietary driver 310 with 313. Miraculously suspend got fixed, now it's working again as it should.
