** Description changed:

  Greetings -

I just upgraded from 12.10 Quantal Quetzal to 13.04 Raring Ringtail.
Everything seems to work fine except the built in SD card reader on my
netbook now won't recognize an 8GB Patriot Micro SD chip mounted in a
Patriot SD adapter. Version 12.10 did recognize this same card in this
same netbook before the upgrade. The only change was the Xubuntu
version upgrade about an hour ago.

Version 13.04 does recognize a standard 2GB Patriot SD card, but not a
Micro SD card in an adapter. I have verified that both cards are
unlocked, and they both operate fine in a camera.

The netbook is an Acer Aspire One, model D257 with a built in SD card slot.
I can send you output from commands and/or log files if you like, but I'm a
noob so you have to be specific.
  Thanks for a great OS!
