I REALLY don't like your "incomplete" status. You give me no reasonable option to change it to. This puts it into a state where you FORGET about a valid report in a few days -- that is SABOTAGE. Please make sure this anti-community nonsense is corrected.
FURTHERMORE, there is the amazing apport-collect, which is *useless* in this case. Apport-collect is not installed by default, and without a network (which is the case here), is very difficult to install, but OK just use a different computer to download it (and its many package and run-time dependencies) and transfer them with a stick. AND THEN, it simply fails to work because there is no network. GREAT. OK, so I filed a separate bug report about that. Probably that one is set for "auto-forget" too. Geez guys. Are we really on the same team here??? This stuff looks very bad. Joseph, I have downloaded the new kernel and I will try it, but please note: This (otherwise lovely) machine is *unusable* under raring -- too many basic services are broken (I made reports in the beta, but they were evidently ignored). If your changes have in fact fixed the problem, I have to beg you to back-port them to 12.10, so I can continue to use my machine. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1171145 Title: Broadcom WiFi left in inconsistent state after suspend, shutdown in 12.10 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1171145/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
