Before the Ubuntu 13.04 upgrade my Linux machine was booting fast under
  12.10

Now it takes about 60 seconds longer to boot. Looking at the critical
lines in dmesg I see this:

  ...
[ 8.025309] vboxpci: IOMMU not found (not registered)
  [ 9.008790] sky2 0000:05:00.0 eth0: Link is up at 100 Mbps, full duplex,
flow control both
  [ 9.008880] IPv6: ADDRCONF(NETDEV_CHANGE): eth0: link becomes ready
  [ 66.887143] init: udev-fallback-graphics main process (2245) terminated
with status 1
  [ 67.673700] NVRM: GPU at 0000:03:00:
GPU-83e2e6d5-daf4-3cca-da28-92f284d64d86
  ...

Looks like udev-fallback-graphics takes almost 60 seconds to process.
Changing the proprietary Nvidia driver doesn't make a difference.

Any ideas why it's taking so long? You can see the whole dmesg output in
the attached file. Happy to deliver more information if you need any.

  Thanks,
  Michael
