Hi Phillip, The restart is random. It could happen while in terminal, watching a video, reading email, surfing the net or just doing nothing.
Sometimes it will sit for 5 minutes, or 20 minutes without a hiccup and then it happens. No warning. Just a black screen and it restarts. I thought of video taping the problem with my phone. I had to make a few small videos but it finally happened after the third or fourth video taping. The video is in my Dropbox and I trimmed it so it would be smaller file size. /var/log/syslog is also included. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/2451527/test.avi Note: the temp was 42 degrees C on reboot and the next time it rebooted was 31 minutes later. Next time, 12 minutes. Thanks for your help, Dave. On Mon, May 6, 2013 at 10:55 AM, Phillip Susi <[email protected]> wrote: > Ok, that rules that out.
