Phillip, You have helped no one by marking this "Bug" as invalid!!! You in your great 'know-it-all" wisdom couldn't provide a proper and logical answer to someones "Bug" report so you do the next best thing you know how to do I suppose, that is click a button that says "Invalid"!!!! Thanks for nothing Phillip, it is duly noted and appreciated(sarcasm just incase you don't understand)!!
Now, to fix this "non-bug" I had to re-compile the kernel, which I'll have you know, I do not like to do even in the slightest!! After having re-compiled the kernel this "non-bug" has dissapeared!! Now I wonder why the kernel developers would hamstring the kernel and my machine like this??? Prior stock kernel versions have allways worked on this machine, other than Natty, and now something has been removed, added, patched who knows, to not allow my machine to work correctly with a stock kernel!! I have been searching for a solution to this problem and I guess the solution is to re-compile the kernel and fix whatever the kernel developers have broken!! Phillip, I am not the only one with this issue!! Google it and you will see others with the same issue!! The least you or whoever could do is try to help someone find a solution to a problem instead of hitting the god-forsaken "Invalid" button before giving a second thought to it!! Thanks again for nothing Phillip, you haven't been a real help at all and it is people like you that will drive people away from Ubuntu towards other distros simply by not giving 20 seconds of thought to a "Bug" report before hitting the "easy" button!! NOT HAPPY ABOUT THIS AT ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
