Public bug reported:

This bug has been tested on Linux Ubuntu Gutsy tribe 2 with all updates.
The computer is a Dell laptop with 1 wireless network card and 1 normal
network card.

This bug happens when managing the network through System /
Administration / Network .

When changing the wireless security type of the wireless network, the
wired networks that were disabled suddenly turns enabled! Gnome-network-
manager won't show it without closing and re-opening the program.

Steps to reproduce this bug is :

1. Have a wireless network card and a normal network card
2. Acces gnome-network-manager through go to System / Administration / Network
3. Check off the wired network and configure your wireless network with Wep 
with a static IP
4. Close gnome-network-manager and re-open it
5. Change the configuration of the wireless network to Wpa with another password
6. Close and re-open the gnome-network-manager
7. Look, The wired network is now activated. You can see it in 
/etc/network/interfaces too.
