On my HP nx7400, I've tried the kernel from post https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1094722/comments/28 without the script. With this kernel the fan slows down after suspend but not to the state it was before. It is still spinning to fast.
I suspect even that it is spinning at a contstant rate an doesn't spin up when there is more load on the processor. Or maybe the actual rate is fast enough and therefore it doesn't spin up. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1094722 Title: Raring: regression: fan keeps spinning at full speed after suspend To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1094722/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
