On my HP nx7400,
I've tried the kernel from post
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1094722/comments/28
without the script.
With this kernel the fan slows down after suspend but not to the state it was
before.
It is still spinning to fast.

I suspect even that it is spinning at a contstant rate an doesn't spin up when
there is more load on the processor.
Or maybe the actual rate is fast enough and therefore it doesn't spin up.
