Booted in Xubuntu 13.04. Attempted to use sound e.g. by watching a video
on youtube, playing music on clementine etc....however, sound did not
work. After attempting to shutdown, the system failed to halt properly,
hanging, causing me to do a hard shutdown using the power button on my
laptop (Asus UX31A).
This may be a duplicate (sound related or other), but posted this just
in case it isn't.
In any case, this is not the first time it has happened...
