The two tickets pointed to by that patch are dealing with adding
interfaces to an class after init, and much of the discussion has to do
with C# (and presumably Mono) and gtkmm (C++) dealing with this problem.
As far as I know, Vala doesn't suffer from this problem. We have no C#
or C++ code in Geary (although WebKit is written in C++, I believe
WekKitGTK is entirely C code).

So I don't know how those tickets are related to Geary, nor have we
heard of this issue before.

I'd just like to make sure that this crash is indeed fixed by this
patch, and if so, what we should be looking out for.
