With raring all updates installed as of 8th of May 2013, ls does not work. When 
a terminal is started, the message ":ls: error while loading shared libraries: 
libcap.so.2: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory" is 
displayed, just like when trying to run ls.
When checking /usr/lib, libcap.so.2 does not exist indeed, instead there is 
libcap-ng.so.0.
