Thanks, I already stated that "sorry, can't run any command from Linux
since I cannot log in". Changed to "Confirmed".

  - Problem: Keyboard and mouse not responsive, image still.
  - When: when system starts in both normal and recovery mode, after kernel 
startup at login/recovery menu.
  - Version: 12.04, 12.10, 13.04 (all fresh install, first boot). Problem does 
not reproduce in Live boot from USB.
  - Hardware (sorry, can't run any command from Linux since I cannot log in, so 
info from Windows Device Manager):
-     - Motherboard: MSI P45D3 Platinum
-     - CPU: Core 2 Duo E8400
-     - RAM: 4 GiB OCZ
-     - Video card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660
-     - Dual monitor: BenQ E2200 HD (VGA) and Samsung plasma TV (HDMI)
-     - USB mouse and keyboard
