Public bug reported:
This worked fine in 12.04. Plug in the stick, and the widget in the
toolbar recognized that there was a mobile broadband device plugged in.
Now, I need to reboot to get the machine to recognize it. If I go into
"Network Settings", there is no mobile broadband option for me to
configure, unless I reboot.
