Using Ubuntu 12.04, even when I use: "kwalletmanager --show", the
programme won't open. I get QDBusConnection: session D-Bus connection
created before QCoreApplication. Application may misbehave. as well.

"kcmshell4 kwalletconfig" will bring up KDE Wallet Configuration is this
the same as kwalletmanager? In any case the box for enable is
unchecked, but kmail still seems to have the kwalletmanager running in
the background.

To be honest, my ideal situation is to get rid of kwallet competely and
enter my password everytime I start up kmail. I mean, save it for the
session, but each session re-enter my password. I had to enter it every
session until a few days ago and then all of a sudden I didn't.

I know most people are looking to have that situation, but for me, I
like knowing that just because someone can get into my computer, doesn't
mean they have automatic access to my email as well. I don't mind
entering it once a day.
