Here some additional information 1. Bios Versions: Running this on the current (old, without BIOS updates) system gives:

Information with ARandR Installing ARandR shows the system automatic configuration: Output: DisplayPort-1 Resolution: 1920x1080 It seems that by lowering the resolution to e.g. 1680 x 1050 xorg takes much longer to freeze 3.
