Public bug reported:
I installed from the tribe3 gutsy gibbon and then updated the system (without
having logged in yet) from console (ctrl-alt-F1).
When I log in via gdm it takes literally minutes for the gnome desktop to show
up (leading to me installing links).
I seriously want to help fix this problem, but I don't know what information
would be helpful. Please reply and I will give whatever info you require.
