Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gdm

Between gdm 2.19.4-0ubuntu1 and 2.19.4-0ubuntu2, the X server command was
changed to
  command=/usr/bin/X -dpi 96 -br -audit 0
I have a higher-resolution display, so my fonts became smaller. This change is
not explicitly mentioned in the changelog, so I assume it was overlooked during
the Debian sync.

In a time when high-resolution displays are becoming more popular, 96
DPI is not reasonable as a universal default anymore. Please remove
-dpi 96 and let the X server autodetect the correct resolution.

** Affects: gdm (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
