Public bug reported:
I open the gnome settings, go to the power manager. I see my settings
from 12.10 - do nothing on lid close. The reason I have it to do
nothing on lid close is because suspend does not work (I filed a report
on that). However, after upgrading to 13.04 upon closing the lid the
system suspends (and then bad things happen). I upgraded to 13.10 ..
same problem. I tried toggling the settings to something else and back
again, but they are still ignored.
