This bug also affects me on a fresh (like 1 hours ago) install of Ubuntu
13.04 amd64.

I ran Empathy, then attempted to set up a Facebook account, which sent
me to their website, then gave me a "success...this url is like your
password" message, without actually letting me use the account with
Empathy.  I then successfully set up my Gmail account with Empathy.
After this, whenever I go to the Empathy > Accounts menu, or attempt to
access Online Accounts through the control center, the Online Accounts
window comes up for about 1 second, then disappears.  Sometimes, it
suggests reporting a bug.
