I already tried actually but it doesn't help. I have seen the log in xsession-errors and that's why i tried to disable desklets-daemon, but it never helped. More precisely i believe there is also a bug in gdesklets, as it crashes sometimes on startup but i am not sure it is linked to the bug i am describing. Sometimes when the session starts, there is a pop up window telling me that there was a problem with bonobo-activation-server. When i saw the message i did some google and i remember that i linked that to update-notifier (but i can't remember what the connexion was). This is why i tried to disable update-notifier and, as it works, i included it in the bug description. Hope it helps. Jérémie
