Public bug reported:
Hi,
I installed the root-system metapackage on a 64-bit ubuntu13.04 box,
everything works but I cannot find the example Makefile containing platform
dependencies for ROOT based projects, Makefile.arch.
In the source tree of a standard ROOT tarball, this file is in
etc/Makefile.arch
After a 'standard' installation (configure/make/make install), this file is
usually in
$(ETCDIR)/Makefile.arch
where $(ETCDIR) is the path given by root-config --etcdir.
After installing your package, $(ETCDIR)=/etc/root, and Makefile.arch is not in
this directory.
I have tried a system-wide search but can't find it anywhere on my computer.
Thanks a lot
