I have tried with different versions of Ubuntu now (10.04, 10.10, 11.10
and 13.04) and the above problem comes with only one of my 3 SD cards
(the one which I usually have in my camera and which I use almost
exclusively). The other two work perfectly in all of the versions I
tested. Since both Windows and my camera (Nikon D50) seem to work fine
with all 3 SD cards it could be that the card reader is still to blame,
or maybe the SD card is some how funny but the Windows and camera can
nonetheless some how work with it. I don't know how to test that though.
It seems to me that the BIOS upgrade to version F.34 solved bug #875927,
and this bug could be a problem with my SD card. I will therefore mark
this bug as invalid.
