Uninstalling the Broadcom 'wl' driver worked for me (on a Dell Vostro 3500 with BCM4313 PCI wireless adapter). The open-source brcmsmac driver that gets loaded instead of it doesn't have this problem.
To switch from 'wl' to 'brcmsmac' (on Ubuntu 13.04 anyway), simply: sudo apt-get remove bcmwl-kernel-source (might need to reboot after that, or run 'sudo modprobe brcmsmac', if the new driver doesn't load automatically) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1174145 Title: Broadcom 4313 causes heavy interference with wireless clients after 13.04 upgrade To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/1174145/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
