Before the regression the mono "mono mux NID=19h"was pined to "DAC=0 NID=13h or 
DAC=1 NID=14h" and not to "mixer out vol NID=1ch  or mixer NID=1BH". 
then when using pulseaudio we have the surround sound and in alsamixer nothing 
of volume control. Mayve its the case in alsa of a special case like some 
dv4/dv5 brands with specific gpio.

I already do a post in end 2011 and middle 2012 in alsa user list and
email the author, but seems mine voice is not enough.

Its sad  I do not have the ability to submit a patch by myself ( low
skill). but this affect a wide range of hardware's from hp.  HP ACPI IS
A SHXXXX....
