This bug has been affecting me since upgrade to 13.04; 12.10 and 12.04 were fine. This is on a FiiO E10 USB DAC.
It's not just slightly crackling -- it's completely mangled audio! Slowed down about 30% and full of extra noise. I'm trying to work out if it's synchronous or not according to the lsusb output..
