I can mount the NTFS external drive, but in my case computer hangs during copying files to it. I have tested it with two NTFS formatted external hard drives and the same effect. The Linux hangs some time after launching the copying files. The disks were checked for logic and bad blocks issues. There was no problem with ubuntu 12.10. I posted it here as it could be related problem.
