I tried to solve it by restoring XP boot (and I got windows running again yey) and then I installed 12.10, instead of 11.04, but I got the same problem again. My last and ugly solution was to add another disk so I have XP on one disk and Ubuntu on another (I have to switch cable ... sux). I could try to Install 13.04 this weekend if you want.
