1) You are not a MOTU or core dev, hence you need them to sponsor the
change - ie, to say if it is correct or not. please subscribe ubuntu-
universe-sponsors, instead of the archive.
2) This is *not* correct, as it will break the upgrade path of dapper
users using this software to the next LTS version. in gutsy+2, this
package can be removed, though.
