Public bug reported: Hello,
I had the following issue on a x64 Ubuntu: I just installed skype via apt-get. On running it, I get some error saying that libGL.so.1 is not found. I solved the problem by adding a file /usr/local/bin/skype (see atachment) setting LD_LIBRARY_PATH. This is quick and dirty but does it for me. I am unsure, why the library is not found by the loader. There seems to be no config file for the library loader. in /etc/ld.so.conf.d. I think (but am not sure) that this should be set up correctly by the libgl1 -mesa-dri package.
