Update: My problems never sorted themselves out. If I were a more savvy Linux user I might have been able to solve the boot problem (caused, I think, by inadvertently deleting kernels when I was also inadvertently running an older kernel because of Grub Customizer).
I ended up downloading and installing Raring (Xubuntu). So far, the computer is quicker and Suspend is quicker. I've had no problems and I've already used the feature half a dozen times without rebooting. Other factors that might come into play: I've avoided installing any other desktops by *not* installing alternate file managers like Nautilus or Nemo. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1129411 Title: 1002:9591 Everything gets swapped out after resume from suspend using fglrx drivers To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1129411/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
