This bug is not only applicable to IBM T41P and its not fixed in
2.6.20-16. I have an HP DV2310us and I've been able to narrow the
suspend problem down to when returning from sleep, the sata drive is not
there any longer, so it cannot restore full functions including usb,
etc. Display does come back if one uses VBE state save. but then it
starts displaying "rejecting I/O to dead device." on the VT2. This
machine among many HP DV2000z use nvidia Nforce for sata. Unfortunately
I cannot post log as no disk access, however I'm attaching output of
lspci -vv and -vvn

Whom ever resolve this it will go along way to correcting issues with
suspend on the newer HP laptops.
