Hi,

I never installed an upstream kernel on my system, thus I need some
hints.

I downloaded the package linux-
image-3.2.45-030245-generic_3.2.45-030245.201305140735_i386.deb onto my
system, but when I try to install it, the installer says, that I rather
should install the meta-package for dependencies and so on.

The Muon packager of course by default does only install stable versions
of the kernel.

How can I install it? Do I need this linux-generic package? Can you give
the related links, please?

I hope, I will not break my running system -- I only have one box here
for Kubuntu.

Regards and Thanks!
