Because we had an "emergency" CVE come through in the middle of one of our recent cadence cycles which patches are in which version of the kernel is kind of confusing.
You say that -21 works for you. That version is the -19 kernel sources with the emergency CVE on it. The -22 kernel is the -20 kernel sources with the emergency CVE on it. In other words, I'd expect the -19 kernel to work for you; the -20 to fail; the -21 to work; the -22 to fail. The problem lies within the 150 commits in the -20 and -22 kernels. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1185572 Title: i915 GPU hang To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1185572/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
