The analog audio does not show up at all, it's not being probed
correctly.

First try the latest drivers:
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Audio/UpgradingAlsa/DKMS

If this does not help, with the drivers installed also try add the
following to /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf :

options snd_hda_intel probe_mask=0x1ff

See if this gives a difference. In either case, please post a new alsa-
info when you booted with this probe_mask. Thanks!
